Andreas Brehm – founder of conmecs

Andreas holds a masters degree in naval architecture with emphasis in fluid mechanics from the University of Hamburg.

In the years 2002-2016 he worked at Germanischer Lloyd/ DNV GL, where he used different RANSE solvers to analyse viscous flows mainly related to maritime issues, e.g. global and local ship loads, rudder cavitation, gas dispersion and heat transfer in ship compartments.

Since 2017 he provides costumer focused engineering, advisory and supervisory services under the trade name conmecs – continuum mechanical services.
